Concept
AI-assisted planning is intended to produce phase-based implementation plans that stay synchronized with repository state, acceptance criteria, and dependency order. The objective is to make large migrations easier to execute by generating reviewable plans with explicit verification gates before coding begins.
Status
The repository already uses plan-driven workflows in plans/, but there is no dedicated planning subsystem that validates preconditions, detects drift, or generates maintainable phase checklists automatically. Prototype work has not started.
